Army life is not always about the good, there are also some bad to go along with it.. As I sit and think about the stories I would like to add, deep down I know I need to more than just the good of it. II want to add a special story about my Grandpa. He was in the army and he went on leave to get married. While on leave he was in an accident. Because he was in the hospital so long due to the accident, he was court martialed for failing to return on time. I have no idea if he served any time in the briggs or not. But this story goes from a court martial and having a dishonorable discharge to getting his honorable discharge. I wanted to share this with everyone. So to share it, I scanned his papers and I am going to post them on here. These are all legal documents, but I did however erase my grandpa's social security number. I found these papers a year ago after he passed away. I wanted some stories to post on here, so I will post one from my own family. Nothing is ever just a bed of roses but I guess that is life as we live it. Enjoy the papers and all I ask is that you please do not use these papers for anything else.
